Came here for a work lunch. I think I had their lobster pasta or something like that. From what I remember it was good. The service was great. It's a Puerto Rican spot with a nice beach vibe interior.

I was referred here by my Puerto Rican barber who told me it was really good authentic Puerto Rican cuisine and he was right. The food was amazing, the lady that took my to-go order was very nice as was the other staff members. They had a great crowd eating and having cocktails and a live band playing really good music. It didn't seem to matter that my Spanish is pretty poor. Looking forward to try other stuff on the menu and maybe hang out for a cocktail or two.

My partner and I came here for dinner on a Friday night and it was PACKED! They had live music playing and a long wait so we decided to come back another time. We returned on a Thursday night and it was not as busy and we were seated quickly. We ordered some empanadillas (Puerto Rican version of empanada) for appetizer and the seafood mofongo to share. The empanadilla was yummy and the filling was well seasoned. The dough itself was on the thicker side for me but this is a personal preference. The seafood mofongo was ok. The fish was cooked well and had a nice char on it. However, it was a little under-seasoned and could have used some acidity like a wedge of lemon. The mofongo itself had a good texture but could also have used a bit more garlic and salt. TLDR; nice Puerto Rican restaurant to try if you are in the area. Just note that it can get busy on the weekends!

Are you looking for an amazing, tasty and high quality meal? Do not look anymore. Cayo Azul at Osceola Parkway is the place. We started with the sampler of tasty Pork, breaded fish, relleno de papa, tostones and Quezo Frito with tasty Guava sauce. Then juicy and delicious Skirt Steak or better known as Churrasco. Do not forget the rice and Pink Beans with tostones de platano and Pana. Do not forget the natural squeezed lemon juice or parcha (passion). The tasty Puerto Rican coffee to help with digestion. Love the chimichirri and the service. Not to take away how happy everybody enjoy the salsa on speakers and enjoying the food.

Great food. Ordered a mojito and it tasted like sprite. Sent it back considering that it was $15. Waitress was hesitant to take it back but did it. Morongo was delicious with some tender creamy chicken on top. My seafood dish looked very different than the pictures previously posted online but it was tasty and filling. I suppose it could have a bit more actual fish pieces not just calamari and shrimp but I still really enjoyed it. Decor is a bit tacky but it does look cute at night time. Definitely recommend trying this place

Cayo Azul

If you’re near Orlando, FL, and hankering for a taste of Puerto Rico, Cayo Azul at 2079 E Osceola Pkwy is the spot to hit up. Nestled in the Center Lake neighborhood of Kissimmee, this place brings authentic Puerto Rican flavors right to your plate. I stopped by recently, and let me tell you, it’s a vibe—full of life, flavor, and that island warmth. From their standout Mofongo to tropical drinks that scream vacation, Cayo Azul has got it going on. Here’s why this gem is worth a visit and why you should swing by soon.

Cayo Azul Dishes Out Puerto Rican Comfort Like No Other
At Cayo Azul, the menu’s a love letter to Puerto Rican cuisine, and Mofongo is the star. Whether it’s Mofongo de Pollo with tender chicken or Mofongo de Camarones loaded with shrimp, every bite’s a flavor bomb. I went for the Mofongo de Pollo, and the mashed plantains mixed with that garlicky goodness had me hooked. They’ve got appetizers too, like Masitas De Pescado—crispy fish bites that pair perfectly with a cold drink. It’s hearty, it’s fresh, and it’s straight-up comfort food with a tropical twist.

Cayo Azul Brings Island Vibes to Every Meal
Walking into Cayo Azul feels like a mini getaway. The place has this beachy, laid-back energy that screams Puerto Rico, and the food backs it up. I paired my meal with a Piña Colada—smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet—and it was like sipping sunshine. They’ve got tropical smoothies and traditional drinks on deck too, making every order feel like a celebration. It’s not just a meal; it’s a whole mood that transports you to the islands, no plane ticket needed.

Cayo Azul Keeps It Authentic with Fresh Flavors
What really sets Cayo Azul apart is how they nail that authentic taste. The ingredients are fresh, and you can tell they’re putting heart into every dish. My Queso Frito appetizer—golden, melty cheese fried to perfection—was a simple but killer starter. A 2023 study from the National Restaurant Association says 70% of diners crave authentic cultural eats, and Cayo Azul delivers that in spades. It’s Puerto Rican soul food done right, with flavors that pop and keep you digging in.

Cayo Azul Fits Perfectly into Orlando’s Food Scene
Tucked away at 2079 E Osceola Pkwy, Cayo Azul is a hidden treasure in Kissimmee’s Center Lake area. It’s got that local charm that makes you feel at home, whether you’re a regular or a first-timer. I chatted with a couple next to me who swore by the Mofongo de Camarones, saying it’s their go-to after a long day. The place buzzes with folks who love good food and good company, blending seamlessly into Orlando’s vibrant dining landscape. It’s a spot that’s easy to love.

Cayo Azul Invites You to Savor the Island Life
Here’s the deal: Cayo Azul is all about bringing Puerto Rican magic to your table. From the Mofongo madness to the tropical drinks, it’s a dining experience that’s fun, fresh, and full of flavor. Swing by, give them a call at (407) 483-7299, and see what I mean. The semantic connection between Puerto Rican cuisine, Orlando’s diverse food scene, and a welcoming vibe ties it all together, making Cayo Azul a must-visit.

Next time you’re around Orlando and want a meal that’s bold and soul-warming, head to Cayo Azul. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, sip a Piña Colada, and dig into food that feels like a hug from the islands. Trust me, one taste of their Mofongo, and you’ll get why this spot’s got folks raving. Go check it out—you won’t be disappointed!
